About MAKE ME BAD

I was issued a warning: stay away from Ben Rosenberg.

As Clifton Cove’s resident “king”, he thinks he’s entitled to anyone and anything.

The trouble is, I’ve spent my whole life following the rules and playing it safe. I know what it feels like to be the good girl. I’m the police chief’s daughter and a librarian—for adorable children, no less. My wardrobe consists of colorful sundresses and baggy jeans. I might as well have a Post-it stuck to my forehead that reads: Yup, she’s a virgin.

An all-nighter with a fictional hunk is about as exciting as my life gets, until one day, fate decides to take pity on me and shove me straight into the path of Mr. Off-Limits himself.

Oof.

Just as I suspected, every inch of him promises to be my demise. Up close, he’s tall, menacing, dangerously handsome—the type of man who’s never spent a single moment worrying about the opinions of others. A well-behaved girl would do as she’s told and avoid him at all costs, but I’m overdue for a little rebellion.

No more Friday nights sprawled out on the couch in my comfiest pajamas. No more wishing I had the courage to misbehave.

Everyone thinks Ben is going to ruin me.

They think he’ll chew me up and spit me out.

Well, Ben…go ahead.

Tempt me. Taunt me.

Make me bad.

review: MAKE ME BAD by R.S. Grey

*I recieved an eARC in exchnge for an honest review, this review is based solely on my own opinion after reading Make Me Bad. 😀

honestly, you can’t go wrong with one of R.S. Grey’s swoon worthy rom-com, they always keep me on my toes, this story especially! I was really surprised with how the two main characters officially met in the beginning, even though Madison Hart didn’t seemed a bit phased, she was more worried about her book–which let’s be honest, if it was my special edition that was getting muddy and ruined, i’d be worried too!

She pushes my hand away and sit up, shaking her head. “No, not my back–my book.” — Madison Hart, truly a bookworm!

their meeting is one of my favorites that Grey has written, although my heart still loves Julian Lefray and Josephine Keller, i think about those two too often.. but anyways, back to this story!

I loved MAKE ME BAD, it was fast paced and light, and chapter after chapter I wanted more more more! I think every female book lover can relate to Madison, she’s a librarian and oh-so-sweet and innocent and on her birthday she wishes for some excitement in her boring life, and she gets exactly what she wanted… kind of. Grey gives us bookworms the fantasy of a lifetime, the dream we’ve always wanted, and played it right in front of us! I couldn’t have been more in love with this story, it had that slow-burn that drives you crazy so much you can’t turn away from it, have i convinced you yet?

R.S. Grey is my favorite new adult author because she always gives us what we didn’t know we wanted–but needed! MAKE ME BAD was so fun to read, i’m actually re-reading it because I can’t get enough, and even though Grey always ties up her stories so happily and sweetly, you’re always left wanting more stories from her.

can we also take a minute to appreciate how cute Madison is, especially when she says the title in her librarian clothes, it was like imagining myself saying that and I just laughed, Grey honestly captured my attention right off the bat, I highly highly recommend you grab this book on kindle if you can!

*also a heads up: you can get access to the kindle app for free and get the book for $2.99, no kindle e-reader is required 🙂

courtney
